Wolverine mini head bust from 2006 as designed by luminary illustrator Alex Ross and sculpts by Mike Hill, who, earlier in the year, won an Academy Award for Best Makeup & Hairstyling on Guillermo del Toro’s film Frankenstein.
This morning’s impromptu inspiration had me visited our next-door neighbours to photograph their garden, dog, then, returned home to photograph our own dog and a couple of Marvel characters.
The camera I used is a Canon 6D M2 fitted with my favourite low-light 35mm, f/1.4 lens, where I captured with ambient lighting in raw, manual mode at f/1.4 – f/2.0, 1,000 iso – 2,000 iso then processed the images in Adobe Lightroom. I cannot get enough of an image having a tight focus on the subject with a creamy bokeh background.

Garden images include beans, lavender, tomatoes and other plants a plenty.

The neighbour’s dog Lucy, and below our dog Lilah.

Another Ross and Hill head bust creation—The Green Goblin.
